The Gospel to the Unreached
More than 100,000 people out of different tribes are living tight together in Bucana: Bagobo, Manobo, Mandaya, Dabaweno, Tausug, Badjao and more than 100 peoples from south of the Philippines. The year 2007 was the beginning for the deployment of the first missionaries which have been educated by Light In Asia-Stiftung Hope to the unreached tribes of the Mandaya, Tausug and Bagobos

Just in Time Deliverance
On July 11th 2006, the a high tide came and flooded the slums of Bucana. The house of Virgie Inverzo whose child is in the “Rescue-A-Child” program has been raised from the gound zero just one day before the first high tide came.

Landslide Relief in Suigaro City
A week of torrential rains, starting 14 December 2003, has caused massive flooding on the island of Mindanao and landslides on the island of Leyte, killing about 100 people so far and affecting at least 65,000 people in both locations.
A team of Light-In-Asia-Stiftung hope delivered bags with medicine and clothing and rice to 35 families.

Davao Airport:
While our Missionary Adela and her children went shopping a powerful bomb exploded at the Davao airport on Tuesday March 4 2003. At least 21 people have been killed.

Opening of the new Feeding Center
In February 2003 Stiftung-Hope was able to by a small house in the poverty stricken Bucana area in Davao City. To this end the non profit organization Light in Asia Stiftung Hope has been founded.

Tsunami-disaster in South-Asia
On December 26th 2004 more than 300.000 people died in the tsunami. Countless victims, belonging to the poorest of the poor even before the wave hit, lost there last belongings. .
