On July 11th 2006, the a high tide came and flooded the slums of Bucana. Virgie Inverzo whose child is in the “Rescue-A-Child” program, had a secret prayer request for many months already. This was about her house which collapsed last year due to monsoon rains. As a single parent who has just a meager income to meet her childrens' daily need, she couldn't raise her hut up again. She was worried every time the high tide comes. On the 10th of July this year, Pastor Dave and Chuck from the U.S.A, and ANCF team came doing “bayanihan”(neighbors working together) to raise her house from ground zero. |

| On July 11, the following day, the first high tide came. It was so high that it was waist deep from the ground where her house once laid flat. Had the help came a day later, the hut would have been completely destroyed by the flood. Indeed deliverance came just in time like in the days of Noah! Virgie and her two children could only sing praises and thanksgiving to God as they watched from above how the dirts and planks of woods were being tossed to and fro by the waves beneath them. Hallelujah! God is never late we just need to trust Him completely. |

The Rescue-A-Child Program was also a recipient of the help. For a long time we've been praying for acabinet where we could put important things to escape from irregular flooding, and a door frame at the kitchen door. Praise God they came to build it, plus they gave toys for the children to play with. With such helping hands they showed the deeds of a good Samaritan. |
