From time to time the missionary Peter Kinast visits the people in the highlands. Some of their cottages are built at a height of more than 5000 m. The people still speak the old Inca language Quechua. The conditions of living are extremly rough and the only way to go there is to ride a pack-mule. This picture shows a small religious community in Pampahuasi.

Employing Peruvian people is another way to reach the natives with the gospel. Chacra de Dios employed seven peruvian staff members. Most of them in animal husbandry. Participating in this community makes them experience the love of Jesus.
