Street children climb trough the duct cover to spend the night in the community heating system of Ulaan Baatar, the coldest capital city in the world. They are cowering close together to survive the cold which is less than -30 °C (-22 ° Fahrenheit).

Some families live on the city rubbish dump of Ulaan Baatar to earn a few cents by gathering plastic bottles.

HELP International Mongolia installed an emergency room, a soup kitchen and a training class in a newly founded care centre to relieve the distress of these people.
