The house called Wiedenhof in Lüdenscheid Germany offers a long term therapy for drug-dependent women and man. The guests (therapy participants) can experience love and acceptance through people who care for them in a family like community. A requirement for the participation is that the detoxification has been taken place in a hospital.

In a shared life (pray, work, spare time, sport) they get trained to solve conflicts, overcome reluctance, insurgence and fear.
The basic goals are emotional stabilization, to regain self-respect and to learn a new purpose in life.

After 12 months most guests are able to manage the challenges our society. They get help to find a new job and will be accommodated in the follow-up care.

One goal of the Wiedenhof is the training of co-worker for rehabilitation and prevention of addiction for example by visiting public schools, prisons and drug scenes.

The experience that Jesus can make drug-dependent people free for ever is the message to share.
